Inuse Research Group is participating to forthcoming 9th International Open and User Innovation Workshop taking place July 4-6 in Vienna. Sampsa Hyysalo is presenting full paper paper (co-written with Neil Pollock, University of Edinburgh) The Business of Being a User: How Reference Customers Construct the Value of Information Systems. Samuli Mäkinen’s roundtable presentation Lead user mountaineering – An integrative approach into finding lead users and user innovations (co-written with Sampsa Hyysalo, Pia Helminen and Jouni Juntunen) focuses on lead user finding and identification. Jouni Juntunen’s roundtable talk On the democratics of innovation: How Internet forums support user innovation in sustainable energy (co-written with Sampsa Hyysalo and Stephanie Freeman) opens up new insights of social learning and innovating in context of residential energy systems.
